The band has a current membership of approximately 24 playing members. Visitors are welcome to attend our practices. Visiting bandsmen are always welcome to practice with the band.
We have an active learners program and are always interested to hear from those interested in learning an instrument with a view to joining the band. Our current learners vary in age from 6 to over 60 so age and experience is no barrier.
We are a family friendly community focussed band with social activities intermingled amongst our formal band engagements.
We have a very busy schedule of community engagements including civic ceremonies such as Australia Day, the ANZAC Day march and service and the Broken Hill Christmas Pageant. The band also participates in the Annual Proms Concert and competes in the Broken Hill Eisteddfod.
