Byron Bay Summer School

Woodies attended Byron Bay Summer School in January '09.

The Summer School was lead by Professor David King and involved some fantastic activities aimed at producing the best out of brass musicians.

Apart from some great band rehearsals participants joined in adrenalin related activities such as rock climbing, archery, snorkelling, Kayaking, basketball, swimming, Yoga, core strength based exercises and bike riding just to name a few.

Everything was focussing on producing the best sound possible and treating your body as part of the instrument.

Woodies feel like we have only just begun to play brass!

We recommend the holiday for anyone interested.

Oh, by the way the venue was beautiful Lennox Head on the NSW Nth Coast.
